This Connected / Oni mashup are in the process of being heavily tested. These 2 selections are heavy hitters in their own right. The Gelonade won the Cup’s sativa flower. The Gelonade’s structure leans more to the Gelato side with its denser, tighter nugs than Lemon Tree which is usually a lighter, more airy nug. As soon as you crack the jar you get a pungent aroma from the Lemon Tree citrus terp background. The Tropaya is well known for its tropical flavors and resin production. There should be some really amazing and unique terpene profiles coming out of this mashup.
Lineage
Tropaya: is an -dominant hybrid cross between two celebrity strains, Tropicana Cookies and Papaya Sweet berry flavors with aromas of gassy peach and orange overlaced with a complex terpene profile. Tropaya finishes in about 9+ weeks in flower and is an incredible yielder for producing live rosin and bubble hash, and offers a delicious smoke for flower consumers.
Gelonade: Is the infamous cross of Gelato 41 and Lemon Tree. Gelato #41 aka “Larry Bird” is a hybrid strain descendant from Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint GSC. Lemon Tree is the love child of Lemon Skunk and Sour Diesel. Lemon Tree has a terpene profile similar to strains like Lemon G.
