One of our first reversal projects was to create an S1 of the JokesUp! Cut of the Runtz, which we then spent half a year hunting out for the perfect female, beautiful structure, grenade-sized nugs, bag appeal for days, and the perfect expression of candied kush terps we could hope for. The mother was sticky and gross in the best possible way. The ideal candidate for our "bastardized back cross" idea.. so we crossed her with a male from Tiki Madman's Runtz BX, the result.. beautiful, darkly purple, Runtz phenos. Obviously these arent technically a BX since we used an S1 of the mother not the mother, but every one of these beans pops a stable Runtz pheno with all new fusions of flavorful terpene expression. Grenade-sized buds that are so coated with resin they feel WET to the touch.
