A downright legendary old-school Canadian strain, I'm hard pressed to find anyone who's been smoking since the 80s out there who hasn't smoked this stuff by the boatload!
Hailing from Texada Island in British Columbia, these semi-tropic sativa beauties are sure to be a fantastic addition to any outdoor or greenhouse grow, but with ample training can be fit indoors with a minimum of 6ft headroom, especially if flowered earlier into their cycle. Branching continues into the stretch on these and they flower for a longer period, so I recommend this method indoors for the best space efficient yields, especially if you intend to crop multiple plants, try to flip these at least a week before the rest of your veg crop.
This Accession is approx. F10 removed from the original Texada verified stock, maintained by a personal contact who used to be a genetic smuggler for very early Cali medical operations, with this accession originally being brought to the USA in 1997 and grown by him later in New Mexico for several generations before I received a donation of seedlings from the original headstash IBL he maintained.
Expect earthy aromas of raw cocoa, as well as phenos displaying a tropical grapefruit side with a skunky twist.
Smoke is superb for daytime relaxation and relief, any med user who has used Blue Dream for daytime relief will understand the place this has in a regimen. Pain relieving and body relaxing elements suggest this cultivar does carry CBD in notable amounts, however, the high is much more uplifted and classic "Sativa" feeling, with a light buzz. Just more relaxing than most Sativa varieties I have run into.
