Lime Crystals (Lime Candy Reserve x Cherry Sublime) -- Is basically the next step in my Lime-focused work. The Lime Candy Reserve mother comes from the medic's Candy Kush Bx line hit with Black Lime Reserve F2 “Sour Lime Pine” male pollen, so there’s a lot of tightly worked lime/kush lineage stacked into this cross. The Candy Kush, although it has a name so often used today, is an older Pure Kush/OG type from 2006-10 that was and still is incredibly tightly-held by some circles of older-school growers, me included. The Candy itself drips in mouth-coating Kush flavor with a Sweet Tart candy on the exhale that stains your palate. You can search for "medic's Candy Kush" to read more about it.
Expect a broad range of tart lime rind, citrus oil, kush incense, chem funk, and occasional sweet tart candy expressions layered underneath. Some phenos lean very sharp and loud on the lime side, while others bring more of that OG/Pure Kush depth and density from the Candy Kush BX lineage but you'll need to dig for those because the Lime breeds dominant. There are definitely selections where the candy influence creeps in more subtly — not artificial candy terps, but more of a sweet tart layered complexity that reveals itself the more you smell and smoke it.
Most plants stay fairly manageable structurally, with several quicker-finishing lime/kush expressions in the line, alongside some heavier OG-leaning phenos that push closer to the 70-day range. Resin production is strong throughout, and the overall direction hovers in that tart lime kush lane rather than modern fruit candy territory.
