This project was created to imprint my collection of select hybrids and clones with the classic genetics of traditional OG varieties. The primary objective was to develop unique lines specifically optimized for solventless extraction, targeting distinctive aromatic and flavor profiles. The initial breeding candidates featured selected males from three crosses: TK x Stardawg, Sunset Sherbet x Stardawg, and Topanga Canyon OG x Stardawg.
After evaluation, the Topanga Canyon OG male was chosen for its superior expression of the desired traits. It is also worth noting that the female progeny from all three candidate lines were exceptional, each presenting a complex, gas-forward aroma with nuanced variations emerging beyond the initial olfactory impression. This was all observed in the hybrids as they demonstrated exceptional vigor, robust structural integrity, and a high degree of resin and terpene production. Notably, the phenotypes expressed a diverse and unique range of aromatic profiles with the female recipients genetics taking the spotlight and backed by the Topanga Stardawg.
