NORTH AFGHAN TAJIKISTAN LANDRACE ⚱️
{Open Pollen Reproduction / Inbreeding Project – {33° Latitude} ♀️♂️
In 2011, popped 10 seeds from Spliff Seeds North Afghan Tajikistan landrace (two packs of 5 regulars each). From those, I isolated and continued working approximately 20 of the best-looking specimens through selective open-pollination and inbreeding to preserve and stabilize the line while maintaining its traditional Afghan/Tajikistan character.
This is a traditional short Afghani-type landrace with natural variation. Plants show compact growth, dense flower structure, and excellent vigor with strong resistance. Roughly half the specimens develop beautiful deep purple to almost black coloration with the onset of cool fall nights, while a good number remain solid green at harvest. Red stem and red bud variations also appear in some individuals.
★ Vigorous, hardy plants with nice dense flower structure that are easy to trim.
★ Stout structure — not overly bushy, making them straightforward to manage and harvest.
★ A higher female-to-male ratio has consistently been observed (commonly 7 females : 3 males out of 10 plants).
NOSE: Incense, pepper, spices, hash, and gas. Multiple terpene profiles emerge, including pine, spice, incense, acrid, hash, as well as heavy gasoline notes.
EFFECT: Classic stoney, narcotic Afghani-type experience.
:CBD: Individuals are mostly high with low to medium levels of CBD, CBG, and other cannabinoids. EARLY
FINISH: Late September through October in SoCal conditions (33° latitude). ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
This line produces oily, slow-burning doobies and makes an outstanding breeding tool. It adds vigor, improves flower structure, and boosts resin production when used to pollinate other varieties. A fun and rewarding strain for pheno hunting, preservation projects, developing true head-stash, or creating killer F1 hybrids.
