This is 5 years in the making, not some random pollen chucked F1 Hybrid. This is where we wanted blue to be.
This is the penultimate blueberry experience that we offer. We used a female, selected by our team of me, from a pack of Blueberry that the homie Resin Lung bought from DJ during Djs early collective lecture circuit. The expression chosen was one that had the slight berry but more funky smells, with the traditional Blueberry afghani structure – short, squat, slow growing, weird nitrogen responses, but absolutely beautiful. from the purple striped stalk with magenta hues and deep purple and blue hued buds, it was every bit what I pictured DJ Shorts Blueberry looking like Visually. But the berry notes were stifled by that mildewy basement funk that most of DJ Blueberry expressions are known for. Knowing how dominant for berry terps the Blue Bonnet had been in round one of testing, we used some of the clone selections we had popped for the initial blueberry hunt that were amazing but not quite the berry we wanted and reintroduced them to the bonnet male. This was hands down, the truest to what i envisioned DJ shorts blueberry to be from day one. Beautiful with deep bluebeery jam notes. These are not power yielders, but they can be trained and grown to a healthy size in veg to produce very well. SUPER afghani dominant, big broad leaves BUT the high isnt what people normally expect from a broad leaved afghani – very functional, clear headed while also having insanely amazing anti anxiety properties for a large number of folks.
