I'm a longtime grower and breeder with a deep devotion to landrace and heirloom varieties.
Growing up in the Middle East, I was fortunate to experience traditional cultivars from legendary regions such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, and India. These early encounters with the plant sparked a lifelong passion for collecting, preserving, and cultivating this sacred herb.

Over the years, my journey led me across the world, exploring diverse plant medicines and developing a particular love for equatorial sativas and their uplifting, consciousness-expanding qualities.
In the early 2000s, I relocated to California and embraced the opportunities made possible by the state’s medical laws. This new freedom allowed me to fully pursue my breeding vision. I quickly realized that many of the varieties available in the U.S. were vastly different from the traditional cultivars I had known. Driven by a desire to recapture those heart-opening and mind-expanding effects, I began growing and breeding these ancient lines myself.

From this passion, the Satori Seeds Project was born — a mission dedicated to preserving and creating cultivars that inspire spiritual insight and provide genuine medicinal value. My deepest intention is to share the wisdom and healing power of this divine plant with others.

All seeds are grown organically in living soil, enriched with homegrown worm castings and compost. Each seed is hand-selected and infused with Reiki energy.

My breeding is focused first and foremost on selecting for effect — everything begins there. I believe effect is the heart of the experience, so it makes the most sense to prioritize this quality above yield or aesthetics. Alongside effect, I select for plant health, vigor, and resistance to ensure strong, resilient genetics.

Once the effect is dialed in, I also enjoy selecting for visual expression — particularly plants with pink stigmas or rich anthocyanin traits that bring out vibrant purples and reds. Each variety is created with the vision of being a living, breathing work of art: unique and aesthetic in its own right, with equally distinct and enticing aromas. The effects are pure and memorable — just like heirloom herb should be.
