Description: Grape Stomper, also known as Sour Grapes, is a hybrid strain that leans slightly Sativa (60/40 Sativa). A cross between Purple Elephant and Chemdawg Sour Diesel, the strain regularly features percentages between 16 and 22 percent and a CBD count up to 1 percent. This strain was originally created by Gage Green Seeds and is known for its massive yields and unrivalled potency among grapey strains. Although Grape Stomper is a craft breed originated by independent growers, it was appropriated by other breeders and remains a highly regarded strain to this day.
Story: Grape Stomper was a hybrid of JojoRizo's (RIP) Purple Elephant, a Purple Urkel Hashplant, and Elite Seeds Chemdog Sour Diesel. The cut of Grape Stomper was obtained by a friend of breeder Gage Green and sold to a California collective known as Blue Sky. Blue Sky changed the name to Sour Grapes to steal credit from the original breeder. Regardless, history had already been written, and the origins of this strain are still known.
