Description:
In our line of new strains, we pair some of the best classic strains with some of our best overall strains. Taking the ‘96 White Widow that took over a decade of continuous asking we finally got her several months ago.
We wanted to bump her up to modern day potency while keeping that gorgeous white coating, flower formation and add some new flavors. She’s still got her semi sweet floral, hashy, herbal tones but add a very sharp high octane fuel that’s followed by that nose tingling sulphur and ammonia skunk to it. The pine and earth with this light fresh cut lime leaf background comes from the father Bayshore Beast.
This plant grows with multiple branches, the lower branches definitely needing support. You can also chop the lowers off if you want to have less bushy plants you can put closer together. Running undercurrent or titan buckets, it’s best to leave the lower branches and simply support them.
This strain keeps its ‘96 White Widow traits with the male only adding to them rather than negating. She’s a moderate feeder so don’t push her too hard. She doesn’t handle pH swings very well so if you’re running a pH injection system place her somewhere that’s a little bit farther from the main reservoir so she’s not dealing with much fluctuation. In some cases it’s best to run her in her own tray/reservoir/system. Or run her in pots with her own drip reservoir.
This being a new strain we have, she hasn’t been run in every system just yet. We only ran 72 seeds so far, this being our favorite by far. The company partners got together and we all sampled the flowers to decide on the keeper pheno and also to decide if she makes the cut. She got a unanimous green light from everyone.
She will grow much like a ‘96 WW clone but larger from the ‘81 skunk male that was pressure popped from new old stock seeds that have been around since the days of the company founder working in the Florida yacht industry in the 70’s and 80’s.
If she’s run in a system with a water chiller or close to AC, she will get a deep coloration like the Tampa Crippie in the Bayshore Beast. The dark navy blue contrasting with the sheer white coasting from the widow is prime bag appeal. Small conical pinecone shaped flowers.
these are a limited release being a new strain, so we didn’t even fill a couple rows in the cloner with her. We expect her to be an all star, especially dialed in with her own titan system and reservoir.
