Flowering: 80-84 Days
Height: Tall (can be mitigated with smaller pots or SCROG style growing)
Yield: 1.6-2.2lbs/kw (dialed in gardens with high ceilings are on the higher end)
Smell/Flavor: Sulphur, rotten eggs, bottom of the dumpster sludge
Description:
Most will have seen many popular breeders running our 1979 FL Heirloom Skunk clone in their crosses. We were the ones to introduce it to the community which is also probably not new News.
This plant smells a sulphur, rotten sludge type smell. She grows like a mostly sativa as normal for an old skunk like this one. She grows tall and yields quite well but you have to train her or SCROG her. Unless you have high ceilings and prefer to stake her in the traditional style.
She has wafting absolute nastiness smell in flower. Everyone that’s grown her has said the same thing. Other popular breeders have said this is as clone as they’ve come to a real old school skunk.
She will get super thick with resin. She’s not super picky about nutrients but she is very old and it’s best to build up and not overdo it with nutrients. pH needs to remain constant. She’ll grow in organic soils but she tends to actually do better in hydro and we run her in fabric 5gal pots with inert basic promix in drip drain to waste trays. She grows in any medium and nutes without issue as long as you treat her like she’s an old mostly sativa and not like a new strain.
There’s a reason popular breeders are running both our 79 and 81 skunks. We have an influx of these fresh, big white root root balls, large clones. That’s why we’re doing clearance on what’s extra. When we sell out like we did a month or so ago, we might not have more for a little while.
