Just the way mother nature wanted her. This specific line of Chocolate Thai comes from Northeast Thailand on the Laos border close to Udon. I have a friend who travels to Thailand yearly and acquired this a few years ago before things were legal there.
Open pollination of this Chocolate Thai allows for some variety in the plants structure and appearance. She's a late finisher. 13-17 weeks to get to the end of the road with her. The Chocolate Thai buds have wavy leaves that are a dark olive-green near the stems, then brighten to a lime-green near the tips. This is in large part due to the thick coat of gold sticky trichomes. Light orange pistils are sparsely scattered throughout the buds in small groups. Although this strain is named Chocolate Thai, the odor primarily consists of spicy orange-citrus, with notes of coffee and chocolate. The bitter chocolate flavor was more pronounced upon combustion, but so was the spicy citrus aftertaste.
Chocolate Thai has built a reputation among users for being a good beginner's Sativa.
