I started out by looking for a keeper plant for myself. I focus on flavor, potency and growth.
I searched for a while before finding the Vanilla Kush from Barney's Farm. She was a keeper for her beyond flavorful flowers. The variegation she shows is green on green and just a added bonus to growing her, because she is nice to look at.
I like getting others to grow so I want to make my keeper Vanilla Kush into a autoflower cultivar.
I began to search for a good autoflower line to use to introduce auto flower allele into the VK.
I came across Strawberry Gorilla from 420 FastBuds. I liked the way she grows and her finished flower. I grew more Strawberry Gorilla and selected a pheno with light purple pink flowers. I pollinated a lower branch on the Strawberry Gorilla with variegated Vanilla Kush pollen.
I got 4 seeds this albino variegated pheno is 1 of 4 seeds. As soon as the seed sprouted it was noticeable that one was variegated.
I will be using the majority of these to make seeds and to further this breeding project. The seeds will show variegation and some auto flower phenos.
