With the grow around our 79 FL Heirloom Skunk that several other breeders have selfed and crossed, we felt like it was high time to showcase the 81 FL Heirloom Skunk as its been slept on.
It’s a great true expression of an old school skunk albeit it’s less of the rotten sulphur skunk spray than 79. With that being said it still has that rotten sulphur but more a more ammoniated liquid skunk arse sharp tone. She’s easy to grow, grows large, full old school sativa skunk expression and this years crops including IG:Rustbeltorganics showcase sure can indeed thrive outdoors in the much more northern outdoor climates where 79 tends to struggle a bit.
We took our 1981 clone only female and our tightly held 1981 male and took it to F4 so there’s more stability for the breeder crowd. This is the first release of a stabile regular sex 1981 FL Heirloom Skunk while we have no intentions of releasing our keeper old school male, this F4 will provide stabile males without us giving up our ‘secret sludge’ stud male.
The 81 FL Heirloom powers through and 79 FL heirloom doesn’t with the dropping temps, sun and humidity. To us this was valuable information because 81 seems to be much more resilient and still pack on that great yield while getting a gorgeous fall leaf set of colors we haven’t seen since magnum opus.
She will grow tall, she’s still strong to her skunky roots, great expression of old school sativa and can do it outdoors in a northern climate without all of the humidity.
We would highly recommend the 1981 FL Heirloom Skunk for greenhouse, outdoor and indoor monster what climate or style of growing because she seems to adapt to the environment. Again, 1979 FL Heirloom Skunk is much less adaptable and needs more TLC while 81 is a powerhouse!
