Hi Jim Rawlings I’m 43 years old and lived right on the edge of the emerald triangle most of my life . I remember all the strain that were hot from back In the day alm the way up to this present . Remember when the northern lights first came out and I was in amazement on how fire that bud looked . I remember train wreck and Ak -47 were big . Then came the kushes that were alway’s there, still to this day this little house on the hill in a native town on the border of Humboldt county, ya this little house we called house on the hill bud .. had the best kush I ever seen in my life and may be the best strain I ever seen . This thing was In The 30 percent when I was 16 years old . It had just a few dark red hairs and was caked with trichomes so many super white ones and like golden bronze ones . Stuff looked like the stuff now days , like it was from outer space . The taist was straight earthy kush what kush taist like . The original kush . If you understand what I’m taking about . And some batches would have a little lemon candy on the end of it . This strain had to be so old and In the family forever . I really wish I could find it and show the world all my old homies still say this too that bud was some of the best ever . But I remember all the eras, I will never forget the day I first sall the purps , the first purple real purple strain And some of the best bud I ever seen the day I saw it. .me and my best friend were playing in a softba touney in arcata California we’re Humboldt state is , and my friends says he need to go meet up with his homie real quick so I give him a ride . He gets out goes to the guys rig and come back opens his back pack and he has a pound of the purps bud . Like when it first came out . Dude that shit was grown perfect . So so dang every rip was candy even the last . Rick hard dense popcorn purple candy . Cover with cakes of trichomes . Then the Urkle came along , and that lead to one of the greatest strains of all time and one of the top money making strains ever , grand daddy purple . Cross of big bud and urkle . Not sure if you guys ever seen the real big bud , I know they had some weak phemos of it but if you had the real big bud that stuff was amazing to. Big super chuncks super crystallie skunkie earthy bud . Good stuff . Then after that came the famous og erea . And the og kush everything days . Humboldt growers would all grow that and sour desiel off to the east cost and La for top dollar . After the og headband sour d erea came the good old cookies crazy . With the cherrrie pies also and key lime .. that led us to now we’re you have so many amazing strains from all over coming out every day . A strain is hot for about 6 months then been crosses with all the other hot strains . As you guys can see I love this plant and I love making new strains and I’m addicted basically to collecting them . And I’m sure a lot of you are too . It’s so cool coming on hear and meeting like like minded people . This all is truly a blessing and I’m so happy and thankful to the ones that set this up . I hope to meet eveyone and build good friends ships and trust . I’m willing to barter with anyone and give . Giving us my gift from god and I love to give . But I understand also we need money to servive .
