Hummingbird has been a true passion project, born from two of my exclusive long-flowering sativa lines: Peruvian and South Indian.
The South Indian line was collected in the Idukki region of Kerala and quickly became a favorite due to its fast, vigorous growth, long slender vine-like branches, and ability to reach an impressive size. The flowers carry a strong fruity, earthy profile, where mango and carrot aromas are commonly expressed. The effects are highly energizing, blissful, and intense, paired with a deep meditative quality that remains remarkably clear. Vision and mental clarity feel enhanced, making it both stimulating and centering.
The Peruvian line brings an added intensity and reverence for nature. It further deepens the meditative aspect while introducing a touch of psychedelia along with strong appetite stimulation.
Hummingbird captures the best attributes of both parents, resulting in an easy-to-grow, pure equatorial sativa hybrid that feels aligned with classic old-school haze-type lines. It’s ideal for stimulating the heart and mind, helping one see the beauty in all things, and works wonderfully for motivation, inspiration, and creativity.
This one is powerful and feels like it has no ceiling — the more you use, the higher you go. It’s also forgiving in cultivation, requiring minimal fertilizer to thrive and performing well even in poorer soils. Beginners should take it slow, as the effects are strong and a little goes a long way. Flowering takes around 16–20 weeks, as expected for an equatorial sativa, but the final yield makes the wait absolutely worthwhile.
