The Florida Crippy is an old cut that is supposedly a parent of the Triangle Kush, and early California OG Kush varieties. This variety showed up in the Tampa, Florida area in the mid 1980s. Legend has it that the strain was bred on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, and the Crippy clone was selected from 500 seeds. The cut was then brought from Hawaii to Florida by surfers. On the Adam Dunn Show, Matt Barger (Bubba), says he found the original OG Kush in a bagseed of Crippy. I got this clone from a small grower in Massachusetts, who got if from someone in Florida who has been holding it since the late 80s. This cut has a good calyx to leaf ratio. The structure of the plant is viny, It needs extra support / trellising. The terps are loud gasoline and musky earth with a little underlying pine. Knockout debilitating dominant effect. Flowering time 11-12 weeks.
