Growing outdoors in upstate NY since 2006, and at scale / legally since 2018. Making hash since 2019. Started the Hash Nerd brand in 2021. Focused on cultivars that make the best hash. Always searching for the best terps. I love classic gassy chems and sours, as well as Zkittlez, and rare exotic unique stuff.

After 4 years, we have a solid team of hash nerds who cultivate, pheno hunt, process, market and sell our products. If our team doesn't personally want to smoke it, we won't hold onto the cut. We have grown, smoked, washed and made hash and rosin from almost every strain we offer.

TESTING-
We test everything for Hop latent Plant Viroid, fusarium, and pythium. We also test our water, and our growing media. Last test was December 2025. We use Tumi Genomics.

CLEANLINESS-
We follow best procedures to avoid possible HLPV, fusarium and pythium spread, like changing out new disposable sterile scalpel blades for each plant, changing gloves between plants, and sterilizing all plant touching surfaces with 10% bleach solution. We never let water sit in the reservoir or in the hose, and hoses are flushed with RO water after each use. Plants are not sitting directly on flood trays they are elevated on crates for better drainage. No shared runoff. We use SLF 100 to break down dead roots and biofilm on hoses.

SOIL
-Clones are rooted in Root Riot plugs then transplanted into 4" pots.
-We use bio365 BioCoco- a blend of coconut coir, biochar and peat with fertilizer and beneficial biology. This helps keep optimal health in the root zone compared to traditional peat and perlite mix based media, while promoting more vigorous vegetative growth.

BIOLOGY
-We water every new transplant in with Rootsheild. We water with Rootshield / Tenet alternation every 2 weeks, so the root zone has a healthy community of tricoderma bacteria. (prevents fusarium and pythium)
- Beauveria Bassania - a benefical fungus - (toxic to root aphids)
-3 kinds of nematodes (root aphid and fungus gnat predator)
- Aphidoletes Aphidimyza (aphid predator)
-Amblyseius cucumeris ( thrip predator)
-Neoseiulus californicus (mite predator)

BULLETPROOF PACKAGING
Expect rooted clones to be large- around 6-12" tall. We have developed our own unique method of shipping plants that results in low breakage or package damage. If anything goes wrong we will reship for free.
